Swae Lee Countersuing Fan Filing Water Bottle Lawsuit

Rae Sremmurd rapper Swae Lee is firing back at the fan who is reportedly suing the duo for negligence and assault and battery. TMZ caught up with Lee at an airport and he revealed his plans to countersue.

“Oh man I’m about to countersue,” Lee said. “I’m about to countersue ’cause he lying. A’int finna to cause me stress. I finna to countersue. Because I do like 3,000 shows, but I never threw a bottle off stage and Jxmmi never threw a bottle off stage, so these are false accusations. So I’m about to countersue.

For the newest and final installment of the Gap’s “Meet Me in the Gap” fall campaign, the longstanding brand has gone the distance of bridging a wide span of musical generations by enlisting Future and Cher to be the face of the latest TV spot.

The ad is shot by veteran Director X (the visionary behind too many A-list videos to name) and finds the two unlikely collaborators Auto-Tuning up the Sly and the Family Stone classic, “Everyday People.”

Big shocker ahead but the Gap reports the two music legends had never met prior to the campaign.

Lil Uzi Vert’s Luv Is Rage 2 and XXXTENTACION’s 17 have repeated their spots in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 for the week ending September 7.

With 73,290 total album equivalent units sold, Uzi’s official follow-up to 2015’s Luv Is Ragemixtape dips one slot from last week’s chart-topping debut, landing at #2.

Meanwhile, X’s acoustic guitar-heavy project nabs #3 with 51,275 total album equivalent units sold.

Elsewhere on the chart, Kendrick Lamar’s critically acclaimed album, DAMN., hits Week 21 on the chart and also remains in the Top 5, winding up at #4.

Khalid’s American Teen continues its success after 24 weeks on the chart, landing in the final spot of the Top 5.

Producer Swizz Beatz is reportedly headed to court, but the 38-year-old Bronx native doesn’t seem too worried about it.

On Friday (September 8), the beatsmith was reportedly struck with a $16.15 million lawsuit after allegedly reselling or fraudulently using luxury cars, including a $155,000 Range Rover and a Ferrari F12 worth nearly $600,000, according to the New York Post.

Swizz responded to the latest lawsuit on Sunday (September 10) in an Instagram post.

According to reports, veteran Chicago rapper Payroll has passed away.

Although details surrounding Payroll’s death remain scarce, S Fakehore Drive has received word that he was murdered.

Particularly known for his contributions to Chicago Hip Hop, Payroll has appeared on tracks with the likes of Triple Darkness and E.C. Illa.

E.C. Illa was one of many to offer their condolences on social media following news of Payroll’s death. In a message shared on Facebook on Tuesday (September 12), he praised Payroll and spoke on the bond they shared.

Offset adds yet another solid outing to his list of 2017 guest verses by pulling up in No Plug‘s new video for “Keys.”

The new visual finds Offset and No Plug, both rappers hailing from the Atlanta area, posted up in a parking lot with flossy whips serving as a backdrop. It appears the parking lot belongs to a project building complex. It’s not a flashy video, but it definitely looks like it could be the site of an impending drug deal, which is appropriate for a song called, “Keys.”

A check for $55,000 may ultimately cost Suge Knight’s girlfriend Toilin Kelly and Knight’s business partner Mark Blankenship their freedom.

According to a news release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Kelly and Blankenship were indicted on July 28 for one felony count each of conspiracy to violate a court order, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and conspiracy to commit grand theft.

Lamborghini is recalling over 5,000 supercars due to a risk of fire

If you own a Lamborghini, then you should be afraid. The legendary Italian automaker is recalling close to 5,900 supercars, including its ultra-rare Veneno model, because of a fire risk.

In a recall notice published by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the company says, "In certain driving conditions while the vehicle has a full gas tank, gasoline may contact the exhaust system and this can increase the risk of a fire,"

Lamborghini also confirms that it's aware of seven cases of fire worldwide. The recall includes all 12 Venenos currently on the roads.

Lamborghini, which is owned by Volkswagen Group had only just recently announced a record global sales for 2016 where It delivered 3,457 cars last year, up 7% from 2015.

Marina Lonina, 19, filmed the rape of her then 17-year-old friend, who cannot be named for legal reasons, using the social media app Periscope.

The duo had earlier met Raymond B. Gates, 29, while they were shopping and a day after, they went to visit him in his house. While there, they drank alcohol and became inebriated after which Gates forced himself on his young victim.

The victim was said to have been clearly screaming "stop" and "no", yet the rape went on while Marina filmed it. Not only did she film her friend getting raped, she was also giggling and laughing while it went on. It was gathered that she continued to livestream the rape on Periscope because she was caught up with the likes the video was generating.

After the authorities got involved in the case, the victim, who is now 18-years-old, alleged that Marina had set up the rape and she had been too gullible at the time to see how manipulative her friend was. She also said that the incident now leaves her suffering from panic attacks.

Lonina was charged to court and initially faced 40 years in prison for charges of rape, kidnap, and sexual battery, but she pleaded not guilty to all counts. She, however, pleaded guilty to obstructing justice, admitting that she failed to report the rape to police or turn over any evidence following the incident. Under a deal with the prosecutors, Marina was sentenced in Columbus Ohio to 9 months in prison.
