The Game’s generous spirit is still going strong. The Compton, California rapper’s latest campaign is a fundraiser for Isaiah Cooper, a 16-year-old who just finished a solo trip across the United States, becoming the youngest Black pilot to do so.
Now, Cooper has his sights on becoming the youngest pilot to perform a solo mission around the world when he turns 18. The Game donated $1,000 to a GoFundMe campaign whose final goal is $45,000 for the teenager’s trip. Cooper hails from Compton as well and, in the description for the crowd-source page, explains how training at Tomorrow’s Aeronautical Museum in the city helped him get out of a life of trouble.

“My main goal is to become a productive young man with a future in aviation, and not a statistic,” he says.
The Game explains why it was important to him to help the teenager in his journey and asks others to spend the time and money to support the cause.
“This trip will have costs of things he will need to complete it, fuel, food equipment etc….. so PLEASE CLICK THE LINK IN MY BIO & DONATE ANYTHING you can to help him accomplish his dream….” he says in his call to action. “As usual, I will start with a donation of $1,000 in hopes that by the end of the day we have ALL helped him reach his goal of $45,000…… It takes us ALL to support one another…… IF YOU CARE & WANT TO BE APART OF THE SOLUTION, SHOW IT.”
The Game and his son, Harlem Taylor, raised more than $50,000 for Arkansas police officer Tommy Norland via the same crowd-sourcing site. He also started the “Yo Mama, My Mama” campaign where he bought $1,000 worth of groceries for a mother of eight.
He has been leading the way in reconciling the urban community with law enforcement as he and Snoop Dogg led a peaceful rally to meet with the LAPD after several shootings made national headlines. The West Coast legends also held a summit for Los Angeles gang members where they were challenged to step up as leaders for their communities. A peace treaty was signed between various members of the Bloods and Crips.
